Somatic therapy takes place on the floor—utilizing bolsters, pillows, blankets, and yoga mats. And somatic therapists look for what can be learned from your gestures, posture, facial expressions, eye gaze, and movement. They have a unique way of improving your own insight and ability to heal yourself as you manage life’s stressors.
